As long as its locked away

Encrypted on a Government Computer

We the People don’t stand a fucking chance

We live in an information age

Information is the key

The solution to all our struggles

To keep them from leading

Us into a pit of our own doom

Is Freedom of Information

A true freedom

Unlegislated and unfettered

By codes and paperwork to manage access

Ensuring that despite the law’s namesake

The information remains shackled

We can’t access it

Lest we all be Hackers

But that process is not free

Controlled by those with the power

Of the idols of the lord.
