Solipcist

Nobody knows

Nobody cares

And still

Nobody can tell

Nobody can see

Nobody comprehends

My life

Begins

And ends

And begins again

I live in shadows

Which span Worlds

And never relent

The sun don’t shine

Life

In solitude

Cloistered

In an Ivory Tower

Cut off

From power

Brown

Black

White

Yellow

Mellow

Fellow

Ideological

In a practical time

Subjective

Positive

Counter to

Objective

And Negative

Walking

Alone down many roads

Life is too slow

Speed

Is my creed

People are blurred

With the scenery

I drive by them all

I ignore

As they do

Lest they are scared

Then they protest

And I suffer

More and more

Thinned out

I drove back then

With a mad fury

To California

To California

And then I worshipped

And lost it

In New Mexico

At the sunset

As I ran late

And kept her waiting

A little while longer

Life is lonely

As a refuge

I drive a lot

And listen to music

Really fucking loud

I drive really fast

Cutting the fog

Ignoring the rains

Blowing out my brains
